Mr Rackham's house is in Little Milford, South West Wales. Mr Rackham was keen to have a solar installation and has not had to seek planning permission. Their house is south west facing and the panels were installed on the rear on the property.

The array they chose was a 10 x200 solar Kioto panels. The estimated energy yield is 1,600 kWh which will give a tax free income of £688.00/year inflation linked, and electricity saving of £24/year on top of this.
