Solar Power works by harnessing the suns energy and turning it into free, green electricity to be used in your home.

A Solar Power system means that you will be producing green energy that can be used in your home, generating an income from the produced electricity and protecting yourself against rising energy costs.

When the Solar Panels produce power the energy generated by your solar system will feed back into your home powering the appliances you are using for free.

Any surplus electricity is exported to the National Grid through your normal electricity supply for others to use.

If your home requires more electricity than your panels are producing, your home will take the extra that it needs as normal, from the National Grid. The way that your house is supplied with energy will not change.

A solar panel system has very few maintenance requirements are there are no moving parts. However, the inverter, which transforms the current which is produced by the solar panels into usable electricity, will usually need to be replaced within 25 years.
