As part of a new development, Linden Homes appointed Heatcraft to supply a complete installation service for plumbing and mechanical systems. ‘Scholars Grange’ is located in Swanmore, Hampshire and offers a selection of three, four and five bedroom homes. These properties are being offered for private sale, shared ownership and social housing and are an excellent example of energy efficient new build housing. This development achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5 meaning new homeowners will benefit from lower than average energy bills.

The Project Requirements
Heatcraft were contracted to cover all aspects of supply, design, and installation of the mechanical and plumbing systems for all 70 new homes. These installation services included:
- Domestic hot and cold water
- Central heating
- Waste water systems
- Sanitary ware
- Gas installation
- Rainwater systems
All installations complied with Gas Safe Regulations, Building Regulations and the standards set by our in-house Quality Management System.
Project Completed
Heatcraft completed all 70 home installations on schedule and to an excellent technical standard. Our highly experienced team worked flexibly alongside a range of other contractors to complete the work on time and on budget.
In addition, we created a bespoke O&M manual for the development’s social housing provider, Great Places. This manual gave detailed information regarding the installations in each social house type.
Upon completion of the project, Heatcraft provided an aftercare service and performance testing on all installations. Should any issue arise, our aftercare division is on hand to provide a responsive and reliable after-sales service for two years after the project is signed off.
